Reviewing the Tea Tree Face Mask From The Body Shop!!!

Today I will review the Tea Tree Face Mask from The Body Shop...

Tea Tree is known for its powerful antibacterial properties which heals and protect acne-prone skin by fighting the bacteria which causes skin problems. 

Body Shop uses Community Fair Trade organic tea tree oil which comes from The Kenya Organic Oil Farmers.It is the purest form of Tea Tree oil which is gently stem-distilled to maintain a good quality.

Ingredients:

Water, Kaolin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Myristyl Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Propanediol, Alcohol Denat., Caprylyl Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Cyclohexasiloxane, Xanthan Gum, Disodium EDTA, Menthol, Limonene, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, t-Butyl Alcohol, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Chromium Hydroxide Green, Iron Oxides.

How this Product works:

 This mask contains Lemon Tea tree oil which helps in clarifying skin. Although it does no work on the scars from acnes but I love this product for its cooling effect on skin when you apply it over your face.

The mask contains Kaolin which is also known as China Clay, helps in absorbing excess all from face and makes skin smooth. This ingredients also clear pores and take out dirt and pollutants which gathers in the open pores.

The mask wont dry on face and it will get absorbed once you apply it all over your face.

Why I like this product?

As I have a oily T-Zone i used to suffer from acnes and blemishes hence the SA from body shop recommended this to me. 

After using this my skin felt lot better. It has a soothing effect on the tired skin and it revives my skin within few minutes. It also absorbs excess oil from my skin and makes it matte. 

After using it for a month my acnes have also disappeared and i can feel my skin to be smooth as never before :)

Also this product is very easy to apply and doesn't dry on skin which makes it easier to remove as well.

It is one of the best mask which suits oily to combination skin. Even for dry skin who suffers from blemishes it will work since it does not make skin feel excessive dry.

What I don't like about this product?

Well,I don't really like the packaging. Body Shop mask comes in a plastic tub and its not very hygienic to use since you need to touch the entire product while using it. It might contaminate the content, also you need to be careful about not spilling water inside the tub while using it.

It claims to remove blackheads from skin but it wont !!! That is one of the disenchanting fact about this mask..

It might settle inside your open pores if you have large pores on your face and need to massage your face little bit to take it off, this might also irritate the acnes and pimples on your face and might lead to breakouts.

There are few chemicals like  Iron Oxides and alcohols which doesn't make it 100% natural.Since i prefer natural ingredients in my skin care products this is one such factor which i need to consider if i repurchase it in future.

Price:

100ml for Rs. 995. It last really long and its gives a true value for the money spent.
